Pros

Good Salary that includes bonuses

Cons

It is a heavy workload for the position and a lot of demands on your time through working overtime in order to handle large email and client request load.

Pros

Paycom’s product is fantastic and best in market by far. Senior leadership is great. The company as a whole performs and executes very well. Stock purchase program is amazing. Great base pay and employee benefits.

Cons

Your experience/success at Paycom depends heavily on which leader you’re under and office you’re in. Most managers here are outstanding, but others not so much. Expected to work hours each night at home and on the weekends.

Pros

earning potential, if your name doesn't get picked out of a hat.

Cons

Paycom has a weird philosophy as hire & fire. I was there a short time and saw several of my colleagues, hired the same time as me, let go without cause. I had rose colored glasses with the salary and commission plan. I saw all of the testimonials about ruthless hours, no life, horrid management etc., but was willing to suffer and bust my butt, sacrificing pretty much my entire life and wellbeing. Despite my consistency in hitting metrics, receiving positive feedback all around, and putting in the extra hours & effort, I too was let go without cause. I saw this in previous reviews and assumed that those people were just disgruntled and bad at their jobs... that is not the case. You're looking at a few months of hard work and pride before they fire you, again, WITHOUT CAUSE. In a few of my peers cases, they even went as far to makeup causes, which were easily disproven. Something weird is going on here, stay away, safe yourself the torment.

As a metrics-driven organization, we expect our team members to strive for excellence in their roles, and we foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth. We understand that this approach may not be the best fit for everyone, as our fast-paced and dynamic environment demands a high level of performance and adaptability. However, we're committed to providing the tools and resources our team members need to succeed while also effectively managing a healthy work-life integration.
