Pros

Corporate in Cincinnati has the right ideas. However, local management fails to implement tthem at the local level.

Cons

Leadership at the local level is a complete failure. They are in over their heads. Management is never around and makes decisions based on what they hear from other employees. For example, an employee was discharged based on hearsay. So, no one can express their opinion on management because you will get fired. They have two managers running the downtown office and the office is still failing. Management has no clue as to what they're doing. No one trusts management and the employees hate each other. The employees don't get the proper training. Paycor in Chicago is a just a mess.

Pros

Paycor is really investing a lot of time and money in making this the best possible company to work for. They are adding a new CRM, helping us generate leads and activity, and going above and beyond any other company I have worked for. The pay is good, people are great, and I love the direction the company is going.

Cons

Paycor's name brand is not as well known in the Chicago area, so people "hearing" of us and getting my foot in the door is sometimes difficult.

Pros

Benefits are good and the pay isn't bad. Co-workers are great.

Cons

Non-existent HR. Apparently there is an HR department, but it must be there for recruiting purposes because there's not much there for existing employees. The focus used to be on taking care of the clients and the employees. Not any more. Now it seems to be all about numbers and volume. Turnover seems to be getting more frequent and the way some former employees were treated when they were being let go was awful.
