Pros

Autonomy, great commission structure, agile software development, went through IPO here and it was wonderful how well they treated the employees. I am a District Manager, have been here about 4 years, and earn over 300k per year consistently. I am not hassled, brow beat, or hammered about quota. I am in the top 5% of reps I would say, but even our average reps make over 200k per year. Average is a tough word, because the staff is very solid, it is very obvious if you don't have the closing skills and presentation skills to do this job fairly quickly. I would not recommend this job to anyone who doesn't like to learn, change directions fairly quickly, be able to ask for the business, or expose truth.

Cons

Industry is a bit littered with scammers. There are a few other good companies in the industry, but many folks I compete against will say anything to get the business. It hurts the industry as a whole due to trust issues. We are paid a residual for clients staying here at Paylocity, so lying to close doesn't help us.

Pros

-In the account manager role, you get 6-9 weeks of training, all of which is very thorough -Great team members, who are fun to work with -Managers who are willing to work with you to resolve an issue -Lots of fun events and outings for staff

Cons

-Year End is very busy, and the busiest time of the year -Clients can be demanding and aggressive, but not always. Comes with any job that is customer facing -Sometimes, you can't get the answer to something right away, causing the client to wait for a call back, which could frustrate them more
