Pros

if you stay out of this company, it is Pros.

Cons

Salary was not offered for first few months.Although it was said that company would provide 18k in hand for freshers, as they couldn't find candidates who would pay for their training.

Pros

Good community of friendly people. Is constantly adapting to current/future industry trends. A Charitable company. Company does make attempts to organise events for employees.

Cons

Not much room for progression. Pay rises only to match cost of living. Some members of management can bend rules when it suites them in certain situations. Some managers have mentality of 'There are hundreds of people who are waiting to do your job'.

Pros

Peak has fair benefits. Depending on who your Manager is determines how understanding and flexible they will be with you and day 2 day life circumstances; it's all at their discretion. I worked in 3 different departments and enjoyed working with all 3 Mgrs. One of them, we bumped heads at times, but he was always attentive to my concerns. My coworkers were all nice, dependable, hard working, and thorough. David Whyte was my personal favorite Mgr. He is "A POWER HOUSE" to say the least! Extremely knowledgeable about product, supported his team to the fullest extent, took concerns, suggestions, and requests seriously and would take immediate action! The executives have a lot of responsibility...their work load isn't just shuffled down to employees because lack of drive or knowledge and I liked that.

Cons

The executives speak and greet you only when they feel like it. The company moral needs a huge boost. Raises are HARD to come by (far and few in between). If you are a favorite you will easily move up. Overall the Executive team carried an "we are better than you minions" air about them. The CFO is a snobby, nose in the air, proud Republican who does not like to have conversations with those that aren't either management or executives! They do not make their employees feel appreciated. I was there for almost 7 years. Did an outstanding job on a lot of projects and merely received quiet recognition. Some managers step completely out of line with the way they speak to you and with micro managing when absolutely unnecessary! The Administrative Assts. do not always know how to respectfully approach matters with floor employees. I would say that Peak was a decent company trying to improve slowly but surely until Ryzex came along. Now it's going all down hill again. Peak allowed Ryzex to get rid of some of their seasoned veterans of support, sales, and service. They are taking advantage of their work horses and piling triple the load on people whom they know can and will get the job done, but with no extra incentives for the hard work. Also, if you are in sales there is no way to track your commission and compare what you calculate to what they are actually paying out to you. That's CRAZY!
