Pros

Great co-workers Benefits Casual dress Decent cafeteria Ample employee parking

Cons

Poor internal communication. Lots of finger pointing. Management communicates to employees through the use of boilerplate corporate emails that make little sense. Employees work until exhausted because management either makes late decisions or changes them mid-piroject. Employee morale is perpetually low and management does nothing to address this problem.

Professional Editorial Department

Pros

Very professional and knowledgeable coworkers who maintain a very rigorous editorial standard. Staff is friendly and helpful. A sense of community within the department is encouraged. Management is unusually understanding with regard to personal issues. A certain level of professionalism is expected, but expectations are at the same time realistic.

Cons

Sometimes the work can seem tedious, especially during some parts of the editorial cycle. Sometimes communication between management and staff could be clearer.
