      Pros

      I have never worked for a better company. PHS TRULY cares about their patients and their employees. They strive to accommodate to their nurses' needs and often reach out to ensure that these needs are being met. Fantastic scheduling, support both during office hours and off.

      Cons

      - Home care can get lonely. You don't have co-workers you can directly bounce ideas off of each other and learn from. -Less variety of patients -Can get repetitive - As new nurses out of school, I truly don't believe home health should be a RN's first job. I don't believe it offers the preceptorship/support that new nurses need. That said, PHS has been wonderful in offering additional training classes if newer nurses don't feel comfortable.

      -Always busy! (Which is great, but gets to be a lot sometimes.)
