Pros

Culture at PHS is something that every employee thrives for. Each employee is high-spirited and determined to help each child thrive. Work-life balance is something that is very important to the management and they provide very competitive PTO compensation.

Cons

There are many one-time exception things that PHS does to meet the client's needs. Therefore, learning the fundamentals can get pretty tricky as the common rule may not always apply (ex: delivery)

Thank you for your review! I'm happy to hear you find a good work/life balance at PHS and also appreciate our PTO program. I agree that we sometimes needs specialized care for our unique patient population, and I truly appreciate your willingness to navigate those different approaches. As always, if you have further feedback, please let me know at anytime! Kelli Ramirez Talent Manager

Pros

Being able to talk with the patients family's.

Cons

I shared too much about my personal life, which then PHS said it affected my work. I was always the one to do "projects", always learning new job in my department, helped other coworkers (who were there longer than me).

Thank you for your 15+ years of service at PHS. I am happy you found enjoyment talking with our families, and am truly sorry you felt compared unfairly to your co-workers. Our goal is to support our employees as best as possible, but it sounds like we we fell short. Best of luck in your future endeavors. Sincerely, Kelli Ramirez Talent Manager

Pros

The patients, families, and field nurses are amazing people to work with. Rewarding experience to help provide nursing services within the surrounding communities.

Cons

Negative work environment. Poor support from upper management. Unequal distribution of work. Poor follow-up with department and employee concerns. Value and support for field nurses are minimal within the internal office and need to vastly increase in order to retain employees. We have high turn over rates within the departments and this leaves families without nursing coverage.

Thank you for your response and for sharing your thoughts regarding your time here at PHS. It's concerning that you are currently feeling this way, and I welcome the opportunity to talk further. Hopefully, we can work towards a solution that feels good for you and something that works for PHS. Feel free to stop by and meet with anyone in HR or leadership, as you are comfortable. Sincerely, Kelli Ramirez Talent Manager
