Nice and hardworking coworkers are appreciated at every workplace, and we’re glad to hear that was your experience at Pella. We’ve had higher than expected sales in some products over the past year, which resulted in more overtime hours than are typical at Murray. Thanks for everything you and the team did to deliver to customers, we appreciate it. We are trying to resolve the overtime challenges, while working through some new approaches to find quality team members in a low unemployment market.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and thank you for everything you and the team have done to go above and beyond a normal shift schedule. We know that window and door bookings growth has resulted in more overtime hours at Murray. Record low unemployment has also impacted staffing and we’re trying to hire and train team members quickly to relieve overtime demands. We’re also trying to expand our recruiting and on-boarding efforts, looking at different shift schedules, and moving production across our plants.
