Toxic Environment!

Pros

Not much positive to say about St. Joseph's OBGYN department

Cons

The most toxic and bullying work environment I've ever worked in. No leadership or management holding anyone accountable. The bullying and toxicity continues because nothing is done to correct it. Run far away from this place.

Pros

Compensation and benefits are attractive. Staff and co-workers are supportive

Cons

For such a big-name Health Care system, they are stuck in the dark ages. It is embarrassing the resources you have to fight for. Senior leadership appears supportive in public but is rude and dismissive behind closed doors. People are afraid to speak up for fear of retaliation, therefore things will never change. There is no work-life balance, no one cares if you are working seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Leadership only cares about what you produce but care nothing about you as a person.
