The coworkers who don't believe in conspiracies got me through

Cons

Management knows they are understaffed since the beginning of the pandemic and chooses to stay that way with record profits. Vacation days are a joke since it is nonexistent. After a year you finally get a week of paid vacation! You have to work for 10+ years to get 4 weeks of paid vacation days. They normalize under compensating and overworking. Loves to ignore corporate emails and not enforce any covid precautions! It makes sense more than half of the techs and staff have called out!

Cons

monotonous work and deep invisible coalitions within dealerships. HR do not value workers. low opportunity for growth and promotions are withing and for the employees who would invest tremendous time at the company.

Pros

Good benefits, lots of resources/supplemental training via HR and dedicated “trainers” (not official job training - that’s dependent on the individual employees doing the training). Yearly Christmas dinner with prizes/employee recognition.

Cons

Anecdotal - some managers were nepotistic; others treated “lower” employees with disrespect. Low salary - you may get raises, but the low starting barely puts you above the rapidly increasing minimum wage. Some “promotion” options might be treated as lateral = no pay raise; or, they will hire new people to avoid promoting existing employees.
