      Laboratory roles provide strong, hands-on experience withing a specialized CRO focused on nuclear medicine and imaging, exposing research associates to a range of unique and technically complex workflows. Coworkers are hardworking, knowledgeable, and demonstrate strong integrity regarding both research quality and animal welfare. The fast-paced environment quickly builds skills and offered meaningful learning opportunities, particularly for individuals early in their careers or seeking experience in a niche area or research.

      Cons

      Work-life balance was consistently poor, with little respect for boundaries outside of scheduled work hours and minimal flexibility in scheduling. Workload expectations were frequently unrealistic and contributed to stress and burnout, while compensation remained limited due to low ceiling pay. Leadership communication was often reactive, defensive, and not open to meaningful feedback, which made constructive dialogue difficult. Initiative and autonomy were inconsistently supported, creating confusion around expectations and accountability. Overall, the workplace culture was heavily influenced by senior management in a way that made the environment challenging and unsustainable long term.
