Pros

•Im proud to work at PerfectServe to make a difference in the lives of patients and the people who take care of them •PerfectServe helps me balance my life and career by honoring both US and Canadian holidays together with paid time off •Technical solutions and teams without big tech attitudes •Remote work whenever possible •Autonomy and flexibility in how I do my work •My direct leadership wants me to succeed

Cons

•PerfectServe is still a small company, that allows flexibility, but also opportunities for process improvement •Because there are multiple legacy products, different teams operate in siloes with unique cultures that do not feel inclusive •Challenging to build culture and relationships in a fully remote environment •Company strategy can be difficult to understand

We really appreciate this feedback. We agree with your advice. Integrating four companies hasn't been easy, but we believe we continue to make progress in this area. As part of our 2023 strategic planning & execution process, we are being very deliberate with how we include all leaders in the process in an effort to drive alignment throughout the company. -PerfectServe PeopleOps Team

Pros

- Pretty fantastic at honouring Work/Life Balance - Fully Remote, with offices available if you like to go in and socialize a bit - Great development team - involved Senior Leadership Team - Great PTO and holiday coverage (both Canadian/US holidays observed by the whole company)

Cons

- Customer facing side of the business can be a bit detached from the reality of development deliverables - Cliques tend to form down the different product lines, despite how important all products are to our survival as a company

Pros

The relationships you build with the people that are in the trenches with you are extremely strong and valuable. You get a decent amount of days off per year due to observing Canadian holidays and American holidays.

Cons

- There is one leader and what she says goes. - There is no backbone on the management team. - There is no such thing as celebrating wins. " We celebrate wins for the same amount of time an ice sculpture is outside in 100 degree heat". - No such thing as appreciating the work that is done. - Management speaks down to you instead of building confidence. - There are a lot of empty promises made by management which leads to them not being trust worthy, miscommunications, and toxic relationships. - There is no such thing as an annual retention bonus so there is a revolving door or employees leaving month over month. - Leadership micromanages every task you complete each day. - There is no diversity. - Management will throw random meetings on your calendar without reason and not inform you of the reason. - Management will make you feel like you are not good at your job and not doing well enough. "I can take someone off the street and they'll do a better job than you" - No matter what you accomplish it will never be enough. - There is no work life balance. - There is no ability to grow with the company the way it is structured. You can make more money and learn more in a different company so do not waste your time here.

Thanks for taking time to leave this feedback, and thanks for the time you spent with us. Without addressing every point specifically, we'll just say that we don't agree with everything you've written here. Our business development team is a well-oiled machine that generates some pretty amazing results year after year, but we also know that the business specialist role is not an ideal fit for every candidate, and that's okay. It's a great team with strong leaders—including several who have advanced to leadership positions after starting as BDRs—and they know exactly what they need from their people to succeed. They're nothing if not honest and fair. We're sorry this wasn't a good match, but building a career is all about finding the right niche. We wish you the best of luck in the future!
