Pros

- People just want to get stuff done, not worry about whose idea it was (or wasn't). - Very few egos getting in the way of progress. - Everyone in the company is approachable, all the way up to the CEO. - Debate is welcomed (disagree and commit is a real thing). - People are held accountable for performance. - The company values your contributions.

Cons

- Like all companies, there are growing pains (where to standardize methodologies vs. allow teams to determine their own path).

Pros

I appreciated the timely and consistent payment of my salary while working here. Although it wasn't extraordinary, it was dependable.

Cons

The founder's mismanagement of customer issues or complaints was nothing short of a disgrace. The lack of attention and urgency given to resolving these concerns resulted in a subpar customer experience and widespread dissatisfaction. It felt as if the company's approach to customer service was back-breaking, as if they deliberately ignored the very people who kept their business afloat. The dream-crushing reality was that customer concern were brushed aside, leaving them feeling unheard and undervalued. It was a futile exercise to attempt to voice their grievances, as the company's indifference and unresponsiveness only compounded their frustration.

Pros

There are no Pros in Perforce.

Cons

- CEO - doesn't care about current employees - he cares only about acquisitions, not to make existing employees, and companies that they acquired happy; - moving R&D to India, getting rid of existing employees, teams. - upper management - don't communicate any decisions, sometimes don't understand the process at all, micromanagement. - no proper benefits. Medical insurance copay is much bigger than in other companies; - No salary raises, they promise, but instead of raises - buy other companies. They do not invest in existing employees at all.
