Pros

Good pay. Great benefits. Medical, dental, vision, profit sharing, 401k. Once I became a PE instead of an associate PE I got a car allowance - gas card and monthly stipend. I also had a phone and plan that the company covered. They usually have a paid company trip each year.

Cons

Micro-management, people throwing others under the bus to get ahead, nepotism and poor treatment if you aren't accepted. Work-life balance doesn't exist. Core values sound great, but aren't followed. Management will say they care about you but will argue with you if you tell them how you really feel. I was unfairly placed on an improvement plan and met and documented all improvement goals and then they fired me and refused to give me any reasoning. The GM who hired me I had a great experience with, but the one they replaced him with refuses to treat lower employees with respect. Great compensation/benefits, but they will treat you poorly the entire time. Avoid working here.

Large company with a family feel

Pros

- Very people-oriented. They genuinely care about everyone in the company and want everyone to succeed and be happy. It doesn't matter what your role in the company is. You matter, and they make you feel like you matter. This is the feeling from the leadership group down. - A large-scale family business. Everywhere you go, people will treat you like family. Everyone is kind and willing to help out. It's less like a workplace and more like a second home. - Open-door policy across the company. Everyone, including executives, has an open-door policy. They are interested in hearing you out and learning about you. - Unbelievable retirement. The company has an unmatched retirement plan that will blow away any competitors. The average retirement age with this company is less than 60. - Compensation. The base pay on average is slightly less than the industry standard, but the bonus program and other incentives bring it well above other competitors.

Cons

- High expectations, high rewards. This is a place to work if you want a career with belonging, not a job where you simply clock in and clock out. They expect great things, but they are also willing to work to get you there. You just have to be willing to put in effort too. If you put in the effort and stick it out, though, you will benefit greatly. - Limited work-from-home days. The policy only allows one day to work from home per week. That one day is not earned until you have been with the company for several months though. This ties into the family vibe of the company and wanting everyone to be around and interact with each other.

Pros

Culture - PCI is who they say they are, people first. Excellent benefits, I don't know of another company in the industry that can touch the financial benefits of PCI, Talented people who truly care. It's a true ESOP company. Your hard work is rewarded, many other companies, the financial windfall only goes to the top, at PCI it is distributed all the way down. The company is growing, there are opportunities for upward mobility. We build really cool things that change the way the world works.

Cons

You will work harder at this company than other companies, however, you will be greatly rewarded for your efforts. Some offices have nepotism. Work life balance can be challenging. As an end user, the IT processes are very frustrating and time consuming.
