Pros

This is a great home daily, local delivery job for someone who is good at dealing with customers, rolling with the punches (unforeseen hiccups), and physically fit. The pay is good for the work we do. No weekends is nice.

Cons

I can only speak on the Kalamazoo location but in my honest opinion, this is not a great company to work at. Our location specifically is overworked. We run all the way from IL to Detroit. So even though we are “local”, we are working around 11-12 hour days. So you can expect to work around 50-60 hours a week. Typically start at 4am and don’t get done until around 4pm. You will walk a few miles a day and hand unload about 500-700 cases of food. This adds up by the end of the day. On top of that you have to deal with customers, truck issues, and warehouse working not staking your truck properly. All things out of your hands but definitely affect your day. But you just have to work through it because there really isn’t anything that can be done once something occurs. They don’t leave you much room for error when you are routed 12-13hr routes. So when something like this happens, you can expect a very long day.
