      Great benefits it was a great company to work for when it was called Packard lifescience. Since PerkinElmer took over brace yourself, and be ready for a pink slip.

      Cons

      Portfolio Company just be ready for a layoff especially if you are a Software engineer.

      Pros

      Bright and hard working people, though they are slowly walking out the door. Fair pay. Flexibility.

      Cons

      The Caliper merger and resulting leadership is failing, yet the employees are the ones taking the fall. Constant talk of growth is counteracted by non-stop cuts. Severe lack of patience and knowledge about product lines is hampering growth. Customers are becoming dissatisfied due to cuts in all areas.
