Pros

Smart, hardworking colleagues developing some intriguing products and implementing creative solutions for customers. Great opportunities for career development and advancement provided your manager is so inclined and similarly supported by their manager.

Cons

Senior leadership is generally very intelligent but lacks savvy and charisma to inspire the rank and file. Communication of strategy and communication in general from VP level on down has greatly faltered in last 4 years.

Pros

There is not much too say about pros except it can be very relaxed if you are salary when it comes to the hours you put in.

Cons

Poor pay and benefits. Also very little room for advancement.

Generally positive, but overemphasis on growth by acquisition

Pros

Upper management is sort of steering the organization in the right direction. The trend from a couple years ago to now is generally positive.

Cons

Too much management, not enough leadership. There is a disconnect between grunts and upper management, with the people in between being inadequate conduits (partially because upper management seems to be fickle and has high turnover). Growth and change is very slow moving. Upper management appears to have little faith in employees as they're EXTREMELY risk averse with in-house work. On the other hand, they'll take all kinds of risks for growth by acquisition.
