Company plays favoritism. Bad culture. Plays blame game

Pros

Money is really good. Good training. Organized. Great realtor functions. Inventory on the ground. 2.4% spec 3.4% Dirt Pay!

Cons

If you are not lucky enough to get hired into a "good/hot" community or if you are not your DP's fav. You will end up in a bad spot and they will make sure you feel like you are not good enough. Back stabbing is a big problem. Cut throat. Very competitive partners who can make your life a living hell.

Pros

They build a quality home and keep a lot of inventory on the ground. They hire truly quality professionals that are dedicated to their work. If you are dedicated and work hard you can make really good money as a Sales Professional.

Cons

Back in 2004-2010 the management style was to "Manage through fear." The owner Mr. Perry died in 2013 and the new management finally realized that the current management was running off all the truly excellent employees. Most of the old management style was fired and there seems to be a real push to improving the employee Perry Homes reviews. Hopefully the new management style will be to appreciate their employees and their contributions

Pros

There is NOTHING good about this job job for anyone who has Construction or Project Management experience, a family or ethics.

Cons

Used and abused field employees with motivation in some mysterious bonus that always changes. The firm is proud of their practice of belittling employees. They don't care about safety as evidenced by their lack of hard hats on actual job sites. Required employees to go into debt for car allowance. Ignore OSHA requirements and beat down all of their subs.
