      Pros

      Even with the new upper management, adoptions remain a top focus for for the company. This is a part of the job that truly inspires all associates and the maintained focus helps our team get associates more engaged on new company focuses.

      Cons

      With the new scorecard ranking, it makes it very difficult to have successes to celebrate with your team. Simply exceeding plan no longer means that your team is achieving goals in the eyes of the company which can be demoralizing.

      Pros

      Animals, develop relationships with coworkers and customers, the employee discount (although it could stand to be better)

      Cons

      This company treats its long term employees like dirt. They give small raises and if you have been there for years like I had, they will find any excuse to get rid of you (even if you had never been written up in 6 years, and had been care associate of the month several times) so that they can hire someone else to do the job for less money.

      You get to work with a lot of animals and animal lovers.

      Cons

      Since the company has sold the new owners only care about profit. The management teams are being given to many task without the resources to complete them and care for the customer.
