Management is shockingly incompetent. Instead of addressing the glaring issues within the company, they choose to bury their heads in the sand and blame the astronomical turnover rate on "hard work." In reality, the lack of support and the constant pressure to meet unattainable quotas lead to a revolving door of employees.
If you're desperate for employment, approach this job with the same temporary mindset they have towards you. Work until you can't bear it any longer, then move on. But take my advice: steer clear of PetSmart. You'll find yourself facing unjust disciplinary actions for rules that were never properly communicated, forced to chase unattainable targets, and ultimately replaced with a new hire the moment you falter.
