      The only positive aspects to this job is that you get discounts on petsmart products and you get to work with animals...

      There is always drama no matter what. Get ready to face employees that do not care about animals and provide customers with the wrong information. Working here was fun for the first week. It gets extremely tedious and repetitive. Customers are exceptionally rude, there's a lot of favouritism, many employees here have absolutely no personal skills or pet care expertise. If you are new, you will get blamed for a lot of stuff you didn't do. Just an overall extremely toxic environment and management could not care less. Employees assume they know everything and as a result, they give wrong information. This has lead to numerous casualties due to pure negligence and ignorance.
