Pros

As a manager I was well trained. Since this retail store only consist of one type of consumer it is much easier to manage. Every time a new policy or procedure is rolled out, there is training for existing staff.

Cons

Hours can range and you will need to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.

Pros

The pay was decent for an entry-level position, the management worked with me for good hours and showed appreciation for me. Most customers were happy to be there and enjoyed sharing stories about their pets. Earned vacation time as a part time employee!

Cons

Some of the lower-level managers didn't care at all and were not well trained and would sit in the office avoiding customers or calls for assistance.
