Pros

Good annual bonus incentive plan Unlimited PTO (if you can take it)

Cons

Way too many to list... where do I begin -You're expected to work around the clock 24/7, especially now that we have been working from home. -No work life balance, meetings are continuously being scheduled before and after your "working hours" (working hours don't exist here or at least don't expect to have any). -Good luck trying to step away for a break or even take an hour lunch, you will have meetings scheduled, be bombarded with emails, and messages when you get back. -No support from management, you ask for help and it never comes, or if it comes it may come 6+ months after. -Too many executives involved in projects and giving orders, not enough team members to execute which creates these unrealistic expectations that require you to work 10+ hours daily and you are never caught up. -Decisions take forever as you have to jump through hoops to get input from so many people, no autonomy to make a decision as a Product Manager. -Revolving door of team members, consultants are hired instead of FTE. -All the company cares about is $$ and treats it's employees as if they are just a number, so many good people keep quitting because the expectations are unrealistic and no support is given. -We are expected to go back to work in the Corporate office, does not make sense since we have been working from home 2+ years during the pandemic.

Pros

Helping pets live their best lives

Cons

Corporate disconnect is higher than any other job I've had. "We are not a tasking company" says a manager to my face, while assigning me a laundry list of tasks during a visit. Expect to work your teams to death all while selling subscriptions to the grooming salon. Don't sell subscriptions? Your job will be on the line and you will be told how worthless you are regardless of your sales growth. You will be expected to figure out a way to work truck on time, have world class animal care, run register, sell grooming subscriptions, capture guest emails, AND do resets with pictures to prove you did it, all while there is only you and a cashier. Good luck having any meaningful conversations with customers while "CURBSIDE GUEST HAS ARRIVED!!" is yelled over the intercom any time a customer doesn't want to come in the store.

Pros

Pets in the office, great company discount (in-store only), Unlimited PTO, actively seeking improvement on poorly developed areas of the business.

Cons

Under paid, under appreciated, over worked, typical corporate sludge, lengthy processes, cliquey culture, past experience - and previous employer - is more important than current efforts.
