Pros

Decent benefits, TX is a good place to work and live.

Cons

Big company type disease. Lots of project type paper with little design work. A lot of engineering work is push off to suppliers.

Pros

Peterbilt is a good company to work for overall. It offers great benefits. The majority of employees are great people. It is absolutely a mans world that allows women administrative work. Product is good with many employees who are very proud to help build it.

Cons

PACCAR executives need to clean house to allow for new technology & growth within the company. NEED to get rid of the old management, it is the good ol'boy and old women who've "secured" their role in the company. There are a lot of old employees making high dollars, doing below average work. Peterbilt lays off routinely, and by seniority instead of performance. HR is not professional. There is no mentoring and opportunities for improvements are often oppressed. If its not broke, don't fix it. Little to no communication.
