Pros

Good people. Comfortable work environment. Lots of opportunity to try different things and get broad experience.

Cons

Raises are few and far between. Pay is sub-par compared to the industry. Asking for a raise is frowned upon. Salary compression is alive and well at Peterbilt. Always know that a new hire is likely making more than you.

Pros

Job security and pension. Very rigorous in their processes and procedures.

Cons

Salary is low and set at the at or below average. Low tech. Bureaucratic. Slow. Ingrained. Incestuous. Require advanced degree for professional advancement which is not necessary in their environment or business.

Pros

There are few, there are some good people who work here. But do not expect much growth aspects

Cons

Management is abusive at times, crass and has no care for its workers. If there is a deadline you will be at work till midnight even if your team has met the deadline and one team in your whole department has not. The pay is low, its far below industry standard and for what you have to deal with at this company its not worth the small pay and terrible health insurance benefits. I would not work here even if I was out of work and have even told friends who were seeking jobs to avoid the place. Management is petty, upper management is childish with the average worker receiving little reward and much scrutiny.
