Communication is Key

Pros

Peterman, for the most part, is upholding the union contract we had when we were bought from the local school district.

Cons

There is a definite lack of communication between management and the employees on a daily basis. Safety meetings are mandatory and rarely have anything to do with safety. The company also seems to enjoy implementing new policies that are not effective for all areas in which they serve. This is brings about reversals of policies in some regions and not in others. Again the lack of communication is a problem, and the employees often times have no idea policy was changed.

I got paid the same amount I did before the buy out, I still had a job when they took over and I had a supervisor willing to fix problems within management.

Cons

I as well as my fellow employees were completely unaware of what our medical plan would be as well as any other benefits that our job had always carried, when asked about these benefits we were told nothing. we also had to become an employee without knowing these things or we would loose our seniority, It was horrible, I had never felt so forced into something in my life.

Pros

Great owners of the company, flexibility, pay, type of work! Clients were wonderful to work with. One of the best jobs I've ever had. Golf Manor location was excellent. Great for retirees, and those needing a 2nd job.

Cons

It is part-time, and many of the jobs are made for working-mom's or those needing a 2nd job.
