While they talk a good game, and there are genuinely lovely people in the company, there is much responsibility with very little support/training. Everything comes down to who is directly superior to you and whether they have your back. I would prefer to be judged by my performance as opposed to a skewed popularity contest. Individuals at the corporate office assume much and know very little about who is actually working, who is not being ethical, etc. There is no sense of unity or team work. In my case, certain individuals (unfortunately for me these individuals were highly ranked in the company) wanted to believe ill of me, so they did. Nothing I did or said made any difference. I left before things could escalate further, but as someone who worked extremely hard and took pride in what I did, the harassment and drama were not worth it. However, if the people above you go to bat for you and you can stay out of the line of fire, there is the chance to enjoy working for Petsense.
