Pros

You meet a lot of great pet people and get to know your regular customers. Stores have a small staff that becomes like family.

Cons

Since being bought out by Tractor Supply the company culture has changed. They call Petsense a family but they really only care about profits and endless amounts of pointless paperwork. When I left the company my entire store staff also left. We were a high volume store and we all got fed up with being under appreciated and underpaid. Store managers make $16/hr to run stores making $1 million+ a year. Not worth it.
