Animals, obviously Friendly co-workers Flexible Scheduling (at my store anyway)

Cons

The absolute worst hours i've ever gotten at any part-time retail job. It's almost pathedic.

Pros

I love animals and for the most part the customers are golden. 20% discount on employee purchases. Good work life balance.

Cons

Compared to what other companies are paying we managers are getting screwed. Other managers in similar companies are making $20,000 more a year. That is discouraging.

Working with animals is always a plus. Having a small staff was a benefit in some ways as everyone was close like family. Groomers are very interesting people to work with.
