Pros

The past year has been bumpy, but the vision and strategy is clear going forward. It is a company with a great culture and a lot of really knowledgeable, smart and caring people. Technology is great, secure and highly relevant in today's market.

Cons

2022 was tough with a lot of people having to go.

In a hard place, but potential to recover

Pros

Lots of great people. Not all great performers, but they've managed to keep toxic people out which makes it a pleasant place to work. Throw a great party. Fully remote working supported. Great product in the right customer circumstances. Great compensation. Genuinely enjoy working here day-to-day despite some of the frustrations below.

Cons

Two rounds of redundancies in 2022 though dealt with fairly well considering. Redundancies mean career development opportunities are now extremely limited. Weak senior leadership team, still all in place despite not hitting any publicly stated targets for a long time now. Some is market forces but could have definitely done better. Changed strategy mid 2022 only to revert in late 2022. Wasted incredible amounts of time and money. CEO told us in July 2022 how much he believed in the new strategy - so should we still believe in him after he got that wrong? No proper CTO or Product Management which is very bad for a technology company. Doesn't scale. Still a fair amount of promotion of old timers just because they have been around for a long time.
