Pros

I had some really amazing people who took time to help me be successful in my role. The benefits are amazing and the ability to work remote is nice as well. Also, they take you on some nice trips!

Cons

Their can be a very clique vibe when you do attend something onsite and it can feel like there is some sort of favoritism for employees who go to the office. There are people who quietly do that job well and aren’t really noticed and others who make sure to rub elbows with the right people as much as possible to advance their careers and it appears to work quite well at Pexip. The company also hired a lot of people in 2021 and in 2022 let a lot of employees go. They did one set of lay offs and assured the rest of us their were not going to be anymore lay offs. Shortly after that they were laying off people here and there and then in November did another massive layoff.

You are right, we did grow our teams in 2021 and 2022 and during that growth period, followed growing pains that Pexip had to navigate and manage. Pros

Talented colleagues, globally was a good culture.

Cons

Our region saw dishonesty and fraud. Not from the head office. Incredibly that person is still in employment, despite HO knowing. What does that say about the company, you work it out.

Thank you for providing your honest feedback. Glad to hear that you enjoyed working with your colleagues and the working culture. I am sorry that your experience at Pexip has not been the best. Not sure I can comment on the fraud sentence since I am not entirely sure what you are referring to. Pexip has the highest integrity when it comes to our business and employees. If you can offer anymore insight into what may have happened please reach out to our CPO so we have a better understanding on how to fix it.

Pros

- Great people - Higher end of rem if you get a bonus - Party culture can be fun

Cons

- Slow process - Freedom and Responsibility mean people do nothing all day - Cash burn rate so high there have been multiple redundancies - No confidence in SLT as no accountability for their actions - Stratergy has changed multiple times this year - Product is old and outdated with no innovation - Uses slack to communicate, people don't use email - No career path - A sinking ship, probably more redundancies coming due to large churn (per market reports)

Appreciate your honesty when it comes to accountability, our product enhancement, and our processes. You are right. We are working through a new transition period at the moment where we are experiencing bumps along the way as we work through new change together as one team. We are working really hard to pivot the company and provide alignment globally. Not sure I agree that our people do nothing all day.
