Flexible but stuck in past

Pros

Some flexibility with hours and PTO @ corporate Some people are genuinely invested in doing right by customers

Cons

Poor communication both within department and within company as a whole. Limited resources in regards to technology despite size of company. 401k matching disappeared per-pandemic / pre-BrightSpring Health Services merger and had not been brought back when I left in 2022. Lack of transparency on ethical issues; disturbing reports of how BHS facilities were run surfaced in the media with substantial reporting. Nothing was ever said to my department of the company. (Yes, I am aware that Legal restricts communications on active cases/issues but things could have been done to reassure employees that changes were being made and the allegations were taken seriously).

Pros

Predictable, repetitive, easy (if you get someone to actually train you) work. Fine if you are on day shift.

Cons

Low pay Lead technician clearly stopped caring about his job a long time ago and pawns off his responsibilities of training to other techs that are definitely not paid enough to care whether a new hire succeeds or not. Probably won't be seeing them in the next couple of months anyways because Pharmerica/brightsprings can't keep anyone because of pay and misleading temps with higher start off rate and then it drops $2-3 if they offer you to be hired into the company. If you work the 1 to 10pm don't expect to get off at 10 unless you're a temp. Because it is never 10. Closer to 11 or midnight 99% of the time. Work environment is becoming toxic because they chased off the few people there that brought smiles and laughter and hired in people causing friction and trouble among workers. The one tech there that trained all the good techs was pregnant and they screwed her out of paid maternity leave because she worked there for a year but wasn't hired in by the actual company for a year. So left with almost no good techs for months and stretching everyone thin. Hired in new people that aren't working out but they don't care. Save yourself the trouble and fins somewhere else or just plan on being there 3 months and change jobs.
