Pros

when I was still there I could think of a few but since leaving and seeing a "normal work environment' I cannot tell you one good thing about working for this company

Cons

This was a horrible horrible company. I started working for this pharmacy when it was owned by Kindred . They had just opened the pharmacy I was in. That was in 2004, now that was a great company to work for! it went down hill quickly once the merger took place every few months I watched them become more and more unethical. They do dirty business. Lie to customers, rip customers off, make it so difficult to resolve billing issues that people just give up and finally pay the bill. They blocked lower cost medications from being purchased so nursing homes were being raked over the coals on meds, especially Over the counter items. I worked around the clock. I was called at home constantly. I didn't have a meal with my family for over a year without an interruption and most days I wasn't even home for dinner to begin with. I was hired for M-F days. The more time I gave the more tie they expected. The benefits sucked and so many employees in my pharmacy were redlined so raises had not occurred in years. labor laws are violated constantly and management just laughs about it. When I left I reported it to corporate who laughed about it too. in just one instance I was forced to work 84 days without a day off. the max you can be made to work in NH is 12. They refused to do anything. the good ole' boys club is alive and well in this pharmacy. I could go on and on about what I was expected to do while the director walked thru the door around 10 and out around 4:30 every day and played candy crush on his tablet all day. I got to the point where his boss would just send the emails to me with a note that said " here he is just going to forward it to you anyway" Reported to management that people where sharing their anxiety meds ( ativan etc) in the pharmacy and he just laughed it off instead of stopping this illegal and dangerous behavior. really the whole place is beyond dysfunctional . After 12 years of being there I didn't even realize how dysfunctional until I saw that the real world really isn't even close to that screwed up.The place is full or lies, secrets, plots and overall just crazy. Current employees, potential employees and customers alike should all RUN!

Pros

You know exactly what is expected of you. Good place to start if you have no office experience.

Cons

Low pay and lower morale in the Tampa office. Cash posting positions continually downsized as more jobs become automated. Skilled jobs moving out of the state. Nowhere to go except to another company.
