I'm a "hater"

Pros

This organization looked so appealing to me when I was onboarding. I felt like I was walking into a great organization with a strong culture. But, not everything is what it seems. They do preach a strong culture. They are a diverse organization that has okay benefits, I really liked the health plans.

Cons

I decided to finally write this review with great disappointment for the CEO. I was recently removed from social media for "being a hater". During my time at Pharma Logistics, over 3 years, I continuously provided the company my best. I never felt that reciprocated after my first year and for the rest of my time there. Their culture was definitely pushed to the lower levels of employees, and not maintained at the highest. I continuosly felt like I had to walk on egg shells around the office, as to not upset the man in charge. Be aware that this organization changes it's direction year over year. Also in just over 3 years, I reported to 5 different supervisors. In that time, I also watched countless department leads be fired or leave. I think that says something when those who must work closest with the CEO do not stay around for any length of time. Turnover is extremely high. But what else can you say when high turnover is already expected from the highest levels. One of the final straws for me was the use of spyware that the organization installs onto every PC. There is no sense of loyalty or trust from this organization. If you go into IT here, no room for growth or advancement. Be careful what you say, and to who it's said to.

Thank you for your post and your 4 years of service. We would also like to thank you for your appreciation of our diversity and the excellent benefits we provide, especially our health insurance. While we appreciate your contributions, we are admittedly disappointed you didn't feel they were reciprocated. That's definitely NOT the culture our CEO is looking to pass on. It looks like we need to improve our internal communications. Over the past 5 years we have only had 2 strategic growth initiatives.....amPLify and Plan to Win, and both are 3 year plans. We are unsure how our CEO was able to remove an ex-employee from social media, but we are confident he will be more than happy to speak with you about your experiences as he's always looking for feedback, good or bad. Please reach out to him. Turnover comes up often on Glassdoor and we recognize that perception is reality. Here are a few facts from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 2021, the overall turnover rate was 57.3%. This is broken out with 25% being voluntary, 29% involuntary and 3% of high performers. All of our turnover numbers come in well below these statistics in all categories. Pharma Logistics does use a tool called ActivTrak. When this productivity tool was brought in, every employee was notified in advance and every new hire is told about it during onboarding. We encourage readers to visit activtrak.com to learn more. ActivTrak isn't "spyware", Rather, it is a workforce analytics tool. As a data driven organization, ActivTrak is an important tool to help us exceed customer expectations. Thank you again for your post and please, reach out to our CEO. We are certain he will be more than happy to speak with you!

Pros

Do yourself a favor and read the negative reviews. Generally, you take these with a grain of salt and can see when a review was written by a disgruntled or biased former employee. But if you read closely, you'll see every negative review echo the same thing, which is telling. They're not the exception to the rule, they're the rule of thumb. My one positive in this company was my coworkers, and at the alarming rate people turn over, that's short lived.

Cons

Toxic culture chock full of distrust, micromanagement, and 'everyone is replaceable' mentality. Don't let the accountability speech fool you, it's micromanagement. And this is top down. The CEO has zero trust of anyone who works for him, and this is pushed down and felt across the organization. Just ask yourself, why would an employer install ActivTrak on corporate employees computers to the point of tracking mouse movement and key strokes? The company has been stagnant for years so don't let the growth opportunity fool you. There is none. The pay is subpar , especially for the work expected of you. The growth opportunities are minimal with a laughable increase attached that's so far behind market standards, it's ridiculous. And the ethically questionable employer practices proof of a leadership who think they know best, but don't. My advise? Know your rights. There is zero trust or value for employees. Everyone is replaceable and be prepared to feel that daily. The benefits are as subpar as the pay. I have no problem with hard work, when it's valued, but it's a one way street only in this company and it's not in your favor. Work life balance? Forget about it. They even created their own fun way of saying you have no balance.

Thank you for your post. We encourage people to read all reviews, both positive and negative. Unfortunately, much of your post is factually inaccurate and a matter of opinion. For example, Activ Trak does not measure keystrokes, the company is growing, and we are very proud of several Pharmers who started in the warehouse and now have Executive roles where they continue to thrive. And while our benefits didn’t work for you, many of our Pharmers appreciate 80% coverage for family health insurance We understand we were not your employer of choice and that’s o.k.! We are hopeful you have found that right fit.

Pros

- New office space is nice. - Some employees are fun to work with and try to help as much as they can - Once a quarter kahoots games for the chance at a $20 gift card, really makes up for no bonuses at the end of the year. - Allowed to wear whatever you want to the office - That's about it

Cons

First, do not believe all of the "positive" reviews left on here. They demand every employee come on here and write something good to make them sound better. The company is small enough that they can tell who wrote them so most people are too afraid to write anything negative. Most of the reviews are written by HR team members and are extremely fake and untrue. Don't listen to the "great culture" and that they "care about the employees and customer" comments. They are doing everything they can do to screw both of them. They say that they have certain core values that they do business by and try to withhold all of their employees accountable. This could not be further from the truth unfortunately. One of Pharma Logistics core values is communication. So it is rather unfortunate that we never hear anything constructive from any of the "leaders" here. The only time anything is ever communicated is only when it is too late and you cant do anything at that point. They are too busy ignoring the people they don't like and you can't even get a hello when you see them. There have been many examples when I have seen a fellow coworker ask for help and get 1) ignored 2) laughed at for asking or 3) told the same thing to try from before and provide no other support or options to try. Employees are leaving the company as quickly as they come in. They have a very high turnover rate and that takes a toll on peoples moral. Some days you can come in and see that someone has been let go without any information as to why and it is never addressed. They are struggling to attract any top talent. At the start of working there they have 30, 60 and 90 day follow up meeting where they asked to rate them on a scale of 1-10 about various things. You cant give them a real answer to how you're feeling because they can let you go no questions asked up until 90 days. The day after that you'll never be asked to rate them again. I have tried to have multiple conversations with a HR team member after those initial check-ins only for nothing to happen. They ask for suggestions on how to improve but never implement them. HR doesn't have your back and never will, they are there to protect the company not the employee. This is just another example of them acting like they care but not doing anything. As far as Passion goes, I have seen that and any drive beaten out of any new hires and the current employees. They don't do anything actively that shows that they care about the people coming in everyday and working. The only times you ever see any sort of passion or communication from the leadership team is when their own jobs on the line and they need to find someone to yell at and blame. I understand that the past year has been difficult for a lot of people but what this company has done to so many people during this time has been ridiculous. Forcing people to come into the office when they have had children at home and have been uncomfortable leaving them at the risk of losing their job. This isn't even including the harassment claim that they sat on for two months until it was brought up in the middle of a company wide meeting by the victim. Then they acted really concerned when it came out but clearly didn't until it looked bad on them and they had to do something to save face.

As always, we appreciate the feedback from our current and former Pharmers, but please allow me to respond to your comments. Reviews posted on GlassDoor are posted from our current and former Pharmers like yourself. We do encourage Pharmers to leave reviews, as it's a great way to show the outstanding culture we have at Pharma Logistics. However, as with other organizations, the culture may not be a fit for all. We live by our values, which builds the culture of Pharma Logistics. All 10 are important, and we hire, promote and separate based on these values. Throughout the onboarding process, we meet with each Pharmer to ensure that they are acclimating well to the culture and the organization. This is done through the 30, 60 and 90 day surveys. However, you left out the continued stay interviews that Culture and Team does with our employees to make sure that Pharmers are just as happy on day 180 or 215 as they are on day 30, 60 or 90. These stay interviews help to reduce turnover of Pharmers. We are very proud of this! Lastly, claims of any kind, including harassment, are thoroughly investigated immediately. We take these claims very seriously, and make sure they are handled as such. As a current employee, I am hopeful that you decide to speak with one of our Leaders directly so we can work together to resolve your concerns.
