Great culture, nice people, laughter is common place. Honestly an amazing place to work. Top to bottom. As an Engineer, there was great balance between lab time and desk time. big company with a small company feel so things are still some what nimble. I enjoyed my time at Phenomenex. Highly recommended for anyone to work for them.

This company takes philanthropy seriously, and devotes a lot of time and energy into fun activities for the employees and providing a very beautiful work environment.

Cons

Managers are mostly family memebers or long time friends of the owner with no qualifications for their positions. These same people are often very petty and look for similar cultural or ideological backgrounds and are very disparaging of people who do not come from these.
