Pros

Employees are very friendly and welcoming. Benefits are very good, and pay is decent.

Cons

HR will make many mistakes in regards to your benefits - the process is manual which makes everything slow and error prone (this may have changed since Danaher took over). Payroll, and whoever is in charge of your w2 is completely worthless - I had a coworker not get paid for 3 months. There was a big error on my w2 that I tried to have them fix, but they would actively avoid my calls or tell me "it's been sent to my superior; we'll let you know". Very frustrating. This is the norm - everything moves very slow, if at all.

Pros

For someone right out of college, great pay and benefits. Sales is meant for self-starters. They will not fire you for being a bad rep, but don’t expect promotions. Supportive managers who are willing to teach you and guide you to success. Fun company sponsored trips and cash incentives. Open environment full of young people (<30 years of age). Opportunities to move into marketing or learn other business processes with a few years of experience. Recently joined Danaher, so opportunities to move laterally into other Danaher companies.

Cons

Job can get boring at times. 90% phone and email consulting. Lack of sales training. Poor technology training outside of in-house products (chromatography). The clickiest environment I have been in since high school. Young people (<30) - pro and con.

Pros

On-site gym and activities such as holiday events

Cons

Lab safety is a joke at this company. I feel that a university has better lab set up and ventilation than this company. Management has high expectations for their workers but yet don't want to give adequate compensation. Honestly, I would not recommend working here. RUN and go work somewhere else. Management is unprofessional and the collaboration with other departments such as QA and R&D is a joke. I have no idea how this company has the ratings it currently has on this website.
