Pros

It is a Big company and a major player on the Health equipment Industry....for now.

Cons

Company have lost their focus and vision. Since the Italians from the Agnielli family enter the company the order is to cut! cut benefits, cut salaries and cut heads! lots of people all over the GBS centers in the company. Many good people that have given the best years of their lives are being fired like dogs! I never imagine that I ever will give this type to review to Philips

Pros

• Work feels meaningful, what you’re doing actually impacts patient care • Smart, experienced teams who generally want to do things the right way • Good balance of autonomy and support, especially in customer-facing roles • Solid compensation and benefits • Opportunities to grow if you’re willing to take initiative Overall, Philips has been a great place to work. The biggest differentiator is that the work actually matters. You’re not just pushing a product—you’re working in environments where what you do impacts clinicians and patients directly. That gives the job a level of purpose that’s hard to find in a lot of other companies. The people are another major strength. There are a lot of experienced, thoughtful professionals here, especially on the clinical and customer-facing side. Most teams are collaborative and genuinely trying to solve problems, not just check boxes. There’s also a good amount of autonomy. You’re trusted to manage your work, build relationships with customers, and figure things out without being micromanaged. If you’re someone who takes ownership, you can do really well here. That said, it’s still a large organization. Things don’t always move as fast as you’d want, and alignment across different groups can take time. You’ll run into process and structure that can feel heavy at times—but that’s not unique to Philips, that’s just the reality of operating at this scale. A strong company with meaningful work, good people, and solid opportunities. Not perfect, but a place where you can build a real career and feel good about what you’re doing.

Cons

• It’s still a large organization, so things can move slower than you’d like • Internal alignment isn’t always perfect, especially across teams or business units • Like most big companies, there can be layers of process that feel unnecessary at times

Pros

Great immediate team and first line management

Cons

Upper management doesn't care about people - you are just a number Even if you are profitable, you may not get a decent bonus or raise. Little to no room to grow, they hire outside resources for management jobs. Outsourcing is an issue, have an issue, wait until 2am for them to respond.
