Pros

I overall, the benefits are pretty competitive. Base salary and bonus for counsel positions are average at best.

Cons

The GC came from another industry and has made the Law Department a terrible place to work. Bad hiring, no honestly, no respect for the legal team makes this an employer to avoid.

Pros

- Pay is seemingly competitive for my role - Great total rewards benefits - Opportunities to get involved in ERGs - Nice corporate office - Flexible work schedules - Passionate workforce

Cons

- Incompetent leadership (can’t trust their decision making) - Lack of transparency and direction - Business transformation is a complete failure yet leadership insist it’s successful and that employees are happy about it - Company is clearly desperate to appease stakeholders at the detriment of the company - Leadership does not trust employees or value their expertise - Company culture and values are just words on paper - Limited career development/advancement opportunities

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Bartlesville is a great community that deserves better.

Cons

Frank Phillips must be rolling over in his grave. Management at the research center is largely technically incompetent and work through high-school like politics. The young, arrogant managers are mostly sick ups and once promoted keep the power within their circle. They regularly meet for an exclusive happy hour in which the HR rep also participates. Difficult to trust anyone when the HR rep is in the same clique as the immature managers.
