Pros
It's a great hospital. The people who work here are mostly smart capable people who work as a team. This is a growing organization that is increasing services offered and serves as a regional healthcare provider. Phoebe is a progressive teaching hospital with a Family Medicine Residency Program and also trains medical students in conjunction with Medical College of Georgia.
Cons
Promotions and recognition do not appear to be based on ability but more on who knows who. Small group of people receive recognition for all good deeds regardless of who actually completes the tasks. There are a lot of great folks making a few people look real good. There appears to be high turnover in new hires and often times quality applicants don't get a second look. Maybe HR has a hard time finding qualified recruiters to effectively hire the right person for the right job. We lack qualified intelligent employees in some very visible front-line positions such as admitting--First impressions are everything.
