Great benefits; relatively laid-back work atmosphere; pay isn't terrible for the area.

Cons

Departments are very siloed, which makes large interdepartmental projects very difficult. Slow moving, antiquated practices, and not very welcoming of younger employees.

Decent pay for Tucson, still the lowest in the state. Decent benefits.

Cons

Administration is clickish. They demote people that should be fired, and fire people that should be arrested. If you have a child in Pima County Juvenile, make sure they are safe. You can move up as long as you compromise everything you ever stood for. No integrity.
