Deputy County Admin and Finance department think they can run IT. Surprise, they can't!

In ITD we have great, dedicated people with really good ideas. Once in. Great while a fun project comes along.

Cons

Politics. Politics. Politics. Tom Burke (deputy county admin) thinks he can run IT for the county. Even worse, he thinks his old department can run IT for the county. They can't. If you see an IT job posted for Finance Department run for the hills. Unless you want to constantly deal with inept, micro managing bosses over you then by all means please, apply. Otherwise, avoid.
