If you, a friend, or a loved one are interested in working for Piper, I implore you to KEEP LOOKING. The company has been on mandatory overtime for months (about 56 hours a week), and sure some people like the extra cash. But on the Monday of Thanksgiving week they announced mandatory seven days a week for some departments because they are behind in their production for the year. Even though there were days were there was no work to be done in some departments because they literally didn’t have the parts to do their job.
This company does not care about the welfare of its employees, only it’s output. Let me repeat that: this company does not care about the welfare of its employees, only it’s output. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with rude and uncaring supervisors if you’re sick and make the effort to come into work and ask to go home early when there’s no more work to be done.
