Pros

I like my current manager.

Cons

-PitchBook was a great place to work pre covid but they have failed to adapt any reasonable flexible work/WFH policies as a business (10 days per year). They are returning to full time office work despite the vast majority of employees wanting flexible work. -The office is loud and an open concept, if you want to concentrate good luck.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that PitchBook is no longer meeting your needs. We hope you were able to attend our Town Hall on 6/30 to discuss our rationale for an office-centric organization and why we feel it's important to our culture, growth, and the opportunities PitchBook creates for its employees. If not, the recording is available on our intranet. As we’ve stated, connection and collaboration are part of our DNA at PitchBook. Re-establishing an in-office culture will help facilitate these connections and will be beneficial for our 300+ newly hired employees and those seeking mentorship. We strive to ensure our benefits, perks, and policies are competitive across our locations and are continuously evaluating our offerings.

Pros

Wonderful training for this role that goes well beyond the specific customer relations aspects of the role.

Cons

It is a fairly demanding role for the current salary, but there are definitely opportunities to grow within the company, which is a typical trade off for entry level positions. Some of the diversity and inclusion efforts can come across as slightly performative since the company is quite white, though this is an industry wide issue.

Thank you for the feedback. We hope you were able to attend our Town Hall meeting on 6/30 to discuss our rationale for an office-centric organization and why we feel it's important to our culture, growth, and the opportunities PitchBook creates for its employees. If not, the recording is available on our intranet. At PitchBook, connection and collaboration are part of our DNA. Designing the future of work for PitchBook was based on what our work requires from us. Being together matters because our work is interdependent, requires sharing knowledge and experience in fluid ways across different teams. Re-establishing an in-office culture helps facilitate these connections and will be beneficial for our 300+ newly hired employees and those seeking mentorship. We strive to ensure our benefits and perks are competitive across our locations and are continuously evaluating our offerings. Based on the feedback we’ve collected from employees over these many months working remotely, we've made several adjustments, like updating our work-from-home policy, offering supplemental sick time off, volunteering time off, sabbatical, a new commuter stipend, and more. We hope you’ll take advantage of these benefits.
