Pros

- Like the title says, the product itself is great. - Sales has a clearly defined process, with well-sequenced steps. - Salary isn't what I'd call generous, but it's a lot better than flipping burgers. - Some tentative steps towards creating a cohesive company culture by the time I left.

Cons

All the super-positive reviews on here without a single 'con' are totally fake. They made me write one while I worked there gushing about how great the company and the CEO is. I had to write it while my boss read it over my shoulder. - Hyper-American sales culture. Push push push! It felt like being a used car salesman, not at all like the consultation-style sales of luxury goods or other big-ticket items. People who came from that type of background were generally appalled. Honestly it felt pretty tacky. I'm not sure if that's a culture clash because of UK setting for a US company. - This carried over into employee management. Everything was automated, laptops were monitored, every action was logged. There was a 'leader board' for a time. Other employees had come from environments where it was even worse; employers can be very keen on public shaming for not making targets. So for employees used to that, Pitchbook felt like paradise! But if you're used to being treated like a human, you're outta luck. - Culture driven by the CEO who from what I can gather has very low emotional intelligence. - Culture also driven by the US where there are zero workers rights. The fact that Brits get paid holidays and company pensions caused a bit of a shock. - Just saw there's a 'diversity and inclusion' rating. Ha!

Pros

Incredible culture at PitchBook. The people are helpful, insightful, and friendly. This company gives you a crash course Masters in Finance. The tech is unrivaled. Not much more to say.

Cons

Smaller company built into a large corporation. Nothing really negative, except you're getting a start-up/self-starter feel with the perks of a big corp.

Pros

My team and division are filled with great people. I enjoy going to work and doing my job. There is lots of growth within the company. There are lots of opportunities to improve yourself.

Cons

Less than industry standard compensation. DE&I is all talk and no substance from management. No official long-term remote work policy for post-pandemic.
