      Pros

      Since being acquired by Morningstar, and me moving from Morningstar to Pitchbook, I've seen quite a good change of culture. It went from being an annoying micromanagement culture to Morningstar's beautiful and open culture.

      Cons

      The work is hectic because of the strange management methods. Most managment individuals do not know what will work best to resolve backlogs whatsoever.

      I have to say that Pitchbook is the best company that I have ever worked for. Pitchbook has an incredible product that is clearly the market standard in private company deal information. Our product team is constantly innovating and adding new features so that we can remain at the top. If you are a hard working person who is naturally curious, you can do very well here. The culture is very collaborative and people are happy, because they are SUCCEEDING in their roles. Pitchbook is rapidly expanding which creates a lot of opportunity internally. Morningstar (parent company) lets us operate as a separate entity for the most part, which helps maintain the young positive culture. I would strongly recommend this company to a friend, former co worker, or family member to work!

      I’ve been a terrible companies before. You guys are doing a great job. Don’t change!
