Pros

Good people outside of senior leadership

Cons

Forcing 5 days in office company after years of hybrid work Flatlining growth Senior leadership seems to think endless internal meeting, and major process changes every few months will fix it hasn’t helped and has only made it a worse place to work.

Pros

I like my current manager.

Cons

-PitchBook was a great place to work pre covid but they have failed to adapt any reasonable flexible work/WFH policies as a business (10 days per year). They are returning to full time office work despite the vast majority of employees wanting flexible work. -The office is loud and an open concept, if you want to concentrate good luck.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that PitchBook is no longer meeting your needs. We hope you were able to attend our Town Hall on 6/30 to discuss our rationale for an office-centric organization and why we feel it's important to our culture, growth, and the opportunities PitchBook creates for its employees. If not, the recording is available on our intranet. As we’ve stated, connection and collaboration are part of our DNA at PitchBook. Re-establishing an in-office culture will help facilitate these connections and will be beneficial for our 300+ newly hired employees and those seeking mentorship. We strive to ensure our benefits, perks, and policies are competitive across our locations and are continuously evaluating our offerings.

Pros

Free beer - not much else.

Cons

Research department job descriptions are misleading. Company hires finance and econ majors to do call center and data entry work masquerading as financial research. Company seems to be big fans of "promotion through attrition" when better employees leave for higher paying opportunities, the oftentimes lower-skilled leftover employees get promoted. Low pay and skills not easily transferable to other Seattle companies. Admiration for CEO hinges on leadership promoting cult of personality around him.
