Pros

Established, large corporation delivers competitive pay scales, and very good benefits. Company tends to group-source decisions among SME's, odd methods but good results. Culture not intimidated by ambition or success of employees - cream will usually rise to the top. Tech-driven company is an early adopter, and makes it widely available internally, has a lot of the SaaS and Cloud Apps to use, and keeps the software rolling in.

Cons

Exempt employees (especially contractors hired by PB) own the expectation of working from home extensively after hours attending late-night conference calls, meeting suddenly restructured and unreasonable, next-morning deadlines as you will be hired to bear the labor-burden of those more veteran and/or senior to you. Heavily siloed, deeply entrenched culture caused by a hydra-like Org structure where these heads are so far apart from one another they don't communicate. In early 2016 PB turned off all legacy-system software globally and moved to 3-main systems.. SAP, Oracle, and SFDC - by early 2017 these systems will still be causing significant and impactful issues for clients this has caused massive turnover, many of whom have been PB employees in excess of 15-20 years. 'Seniority and tenure above all' who stays and who goes mentality has led to a flight of high-talent, uncommonly-skill employees being shown the door and immedetely finding open opportunity on the other side. Little, inadequate, or no instruction on use of software and Apps made available - you are on your own.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We are committed to promoting and creating a positive work environment where everyone is free to share feedback and is treated with utmost dignity. As a company, Pitney Bowes values and respects the need for work-life balance. As a professional team member, we also are engaged in very important and urgent efforts which will require our dedication, flexibility and sense of urgency. The challenge of transforming the business systems and legacy platforms is one of those efforts. The investment of time and extensive learning interventions has been great and will continue. While transformations of this magnitude are daunting, the efforts of the Pitney Bowes team is greatly appreciated by the company and our clients.

Cons

Unfair labor practices 'ruined' many persons careers. Many worthwhile employees were looked over during times of scandals.

Pros

- Good salary - Good benefits - Mapping product is above average

Cons

- Frequent layoffs - Old boy network from Infor running the show - Long term employees lethargic and resist change - Not a modern company - Sales leadership is plagued by backstabbing and politics - PB is a very political environment - HR only works to protect upper managment - Products are dated and difficult to sell to all industries
