Pros

Pitney Bowes is the kind of employer that most other companies claim/promise to be, but never deliver. PB is legitimately invested in and focused on employee happiness, promoting a supportive and positive culture, respecting true diversity and inclusion, great benefits, and best of all a largely stress-free environment. Never need to look over your shoulder, deal with heavy politics, or worry about losing your job for things you had nothing to do with. No blame game or scapegoats here. Things move at an extremely slow and steady pace. The business does not care about trying to be exciting, cutting-edge, sexy, or "innovative" as a means to inflate the stock price, get PR or close deals.

Cons

PB is so relaxed, that the bar for doing good work, even minimally acceptable work, is ridiculously low. This can be very difficult for those who are used to higher-performing teams that work efficiently and effectively. There's not a lot of investment in strategic thinking or planning, nor in process improvement. Promotions and raises take a long, long time.

Pros

Some people in sales are good people with quality character looking to change around a messed up business company

Cons

The Product and Design arms of this organization are corrupt. They are looking for new minds, but completely reject any ideas that don't align with their own, verbally abuse and put down employees if they try to stand up for themselves, and threaten employees. They have some archaic ideas and mentalities that they refuse to be swayed on, and there is clear expression of aggression towards feeling challenged. People like their coosh positions and any threat to showing they are incompetent in their work is grounds for them to remove a contributing, effective employee immediately. I have recorded calls of the threats and mistreatment that they refused to handle, and when I took to HR, they retaliated against me instead of defending me against the abusive employees. Skip bosses played dumb and refused to be involved.
