Pros

Pitney Bowes does have a virtual monopoly over the shrinking number of organizations that still send physical mail. That does allow for some relatively easy sales to whats left as there are really no alternatives.

Cons

In the digital age in addition to the green movement, Pitney Bowes as a mail services company is losing relevance and quite frankly on the verge of irrelevance. Their attempts at product diversity have been utter failures. It is an old company that has be completely unable to evolve with the times. The pay is dismal, management and leadership is beyond dismal. The best and brightest are not jumping on board this sinking ship with different company focuses coming every week there is no vision or direction at Pitney Bowes. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

Pay was good a decade ago. Work is steady. Good job security. If you like overtime, be careful what you ask for.

Cons

Pay for new hires is insulting - especially considering the skill level required for the job. Raises are a slap in the face for a person who is repeatedly asked to set aside his personal life for his job. Mailing industry is slowly dying and management reminds workers often of how they are lucky to even have a job (and we are...).

Pros

Good benes but with most companys you pay for your insurance.

Cons

All the managers lye to you to get you in the door. They do this because they know that most people won't last longer than six months.you won't see a comission check until six months or on month 7. That is only if you hit the minimum threshold to get a paycheck. When you get hired you get a guaranteed bonus and a base salary of $50k. What they don't tell you is that you will your base will drop down to $35k. You will be working 60-70 hrs a week. Not an ethical compay to work for.
