Pros

Pitney Bowes is a well known company with a long history. Brand recognition is helpful when looking for new business and you are trying to get your foot in the door..

Cons

Very disorganized, next to no training and over worked managers leads to frustration by the new reps. Reps are forced to slam their customers just to get a sale. They throw you in the field by the third day. Days before you get tools such as laptop, cell phone or passwords to access anything. You do get five days of formal training maybe one to two months after you are put in territory. You will ride with reps that dog the company all day long. It's hard to pump yourself up when you hear nothing but bad things about the place where you are working

Pros

Great opportunity to gain some sales experience and sales training. You can parlay this job into other sales opportunities.

Cons

Lack of overall planning, sense of direction and purpose. Strong hand management style seems to be a cultural norm. Seasonal job cuts.

Pros

Good benes but with most companys you pay for your insurance.

Cons

All the managers lye to you to get you in the door. They do this because they know that most people won't last longer than six months.you won't see a comission check until six months or on month 7. That is only if you hit the minimum threshold to get a paycheck. When you get hired you get a guaranteed bonus and a base salary of $50k. What they don't tell you is that you will your base will drop down to $35k. You will be working 60-70 hrs a week. Not an ethical compay to work for.
